Since childhood, Gabriele dreamed of performing magic—then he started drawing and made his dream come true.
After earning a degree in Illustration and Visual Communication from IED Torino, he began working as a freelance illustrator. He creates comics for the weekly magazine Origami and collaborates with designer and ceramicist Cecilia Mosso on Memorie, a collection of illustrated ceramics that blend design, illustration, and psychology.
He has worked with Matera 2019, Pitti Fragranze, Moscabianca Edizioni, Pearson Italia, Edizioni Gruppo Abele, Edizioni Off, and La Stampa.
He has also collaborated with various festivals, including Inchiostro Festival, PawChewGo, Un Ponte di Storie, Fish and Chips Film Festival, Operae Independent Design Fair, and TheOthers.
Nature and human beings are his greatest sources of inspiration—he loves both their poetry and their quirks. He frequently travels to uncover stories from oral traditions and create self-published book projects.
In his free time, he lets life surprise him.
