Riccardo Guasco, also known by the pseudonym Rik, is an internationally renowned Italian illustrator, painter, and graphic artist. His work is influenced by artistic movements such as Cubism and Futurism, with key figures in his artistic development including Pablo Picasso, Lyonel Feininger, Fortunato Depero, and Bruno Munari.
He is one of the founders of Inchiostro Festival, a cultural event held annually on the first weekend of June in Alessandria, within the cloister of the Church of Santa Maria di Castello. For three days, the festival brings together illustrators, calligraphers, and art printers who share with visitors the creative process behind their work.
Each year, Riccardo creates the festival’s signature image, which is screen printed by Print Club Torino. This year’s edition is printed in four colors on 300 gsm Fedrigoni Materica Gesso paper, hand-signed and numbered by the artist. Size: 50 × 70 cm.
