Promote cultural exchange

The Print Club promotes residency programs with Italian and international artists aimed at creating new artistic projects by making available its wide variety of machinery and the know-how of its staff and valorizing the productions made through exhibition and dissemination events of great interest.

The residences

The laboratory becomes an operational space of creation in which the artist can plan and complete his own work for a period that can vary from a week to a month, in a welcoming place, full of instruments and opportunities and in which cultural exchange and experimentation facilitates the genesis of content.

The projects, coordinated and managed at curatorial level in collaboration with artistic and cultural institutions and bodies, have the opportunity to benefit from exhibition moments and public restitution in the context of the Graphic Days® festival.

Collaboration with the Goethe Institute

In 2018 a double residency was initiated between Turin and Berlin together with the German cultural institute; Lukas Eggert was selected to work at the Print Club and Gabriele Pino in Berlin. Lukas Eggert used the metaphor of the balcony to describe the hidden life of some people and produced 3 illustrations with the risograph technique to express his vision of Turin.

Cultural exchange with the Blind Walls Gallery

In 2021 the Print Club promoted a collaboration with the Blind Walls Gallery in Breda, hosting Ilse Weisfelt, an emerging artist from the Netherlands, while Guerrilla Spam worked in the Blind Walls Gallery. During the residency prints were made with different techniques to show how the urban landscape can determine the way of thinking and living of a person and change their habits.
