For 8 years we have shared our experience of techniques and creative approaches with enthusiasts, curious and professionals. Our dream is to convey the passion for screen printing: from the moment when the idea is caressed to its concrete realization. Creativity, dexterity, patience are attitudes in which we immerse ourselves every day and that we would like to share with you, with this course. The online experience we have created is for those who do not have the opportunity to reach us in presence, because of commitments or miles. Introduction to the technique

What are the characteristics of this technique? Thanks to this module you will understand which are the fundamental moments of the process and you will know all the tools you need to print. Squeegees, frames, types of inks will no longer be a mystery to you!

Designing for screen printing - Part 1

To better understand how to design your subject in screen printing it is always good to keep in mind some aspects: the important thing is that your work is original, unique, that tells something about you. In this first part we will look at the digital method: what computer graphics programs to use and the correct arrangement of color levels.

Designing for screen printing - Part 2

In the second part relating to the design we focus on the analog method: suitable for those who do not want or can not use the computer. Have fun designing: use your skills and discover how to make your layout according to the peculiar features of your sign.

Burning the frame

Every part of the process is important and must be done correctly. Thanks to this module you will understand how to properly prepare the frames with the photosensitive emulsion but, more importantly, you will understand how your graphics are transferred to the frame mesh.

Let's print

Let’s see together what are the necessary precautions to print perfectly your elaborate: starting from how you hold a squeegee in your hand through out of contact. The workstation is ready: we print together!
