Summer School 2023 – Engraving Techniques

An intensive course designed for students, fans and artists of art graphics.

Each participant will have the opportunity to work side by side with Giancarlo Busato on the main engraving techniques such as aquatint, etching, dry tip, black way, soft paint. From the theoretical deepening we will pass to the practical part and manual experimentation.
Each member will complete an individual project under the expert guidance of the printer.

REGISTRATIONS
The workshop will be held with a maximum of 10 people.

PROGRAM
From 27 to 30 July from 9:30 to 13:30 and from 14:30 to 17:30

The engraving techniques will be addressed in depth helping participants to create, at their choice, an engraving technique per day on a plate of about 15 25 cm and then arrived at the last day a plate of size 20 30. The full immersion of four days is designed for those who want to improve their knowledge and at the same time allows those who are new to deepen in an accurate way all aspects of the art of engraving.

COSTS
You can choose between two formulas:

FULL – 4 days: 450 Euro
HALF – 2 days: 225 Euro
MATERIALS
All materials will be provided by the tutor and the Print Club Torino.

REGISTRATION

MEMBERSHIP
Participation in the workshop gives the right to membership to € 30 that will allow participants to access the laboratory independently. Please note that membership is mandatory in order to access the activities of Print Club Torino.

CANCELLATION POLICY AT THE WORKSHOP
You can cancel your registration within 7 calendar days from the start of the course, informing the Print Club Torino at the email address workshop@printclubtorino.it. The fee paid may be used for participation in another workshop (within one year, after which it will no longer be returned). Failure to notify within the prescribed days will result in the loss of the deposit paid.
