Paola Fagnola
Paola is a restorer and bookbinder and carries out her activity in Bottega Fagnola, an artisan laboratory of bookbinding, paper converting and restoration, together with her father Luciano and the team of collaborators with many years of experience.
She began her training at the Centro del Bel Libro in Ascona (CH) with established master bookbinders, with a degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage at the ICRCPAL Advanced Training School for restorers in Rome, ranging from restoration to art bookbinding, between tradition and innovation, expanding all her horizons concerning books and paper.
She is also a professor at the SAF ICRCPAL Schools of Restoration in Rome, the Foundation for the conservation and restoration of the Book Heritage of Spoleto, Polytechnic of Turin and IED Turin.
